I am an atheist from India. In past, I believed that religion promotes morality and advocates peace. Later, I was disillusioned with religion.
I was born in a conservative hindu family. Hinduism is also very barbaric religion like Islam. Hindus even kill people of their own religion in the name of castes. Hinduism also oppresses women as horribly as Islam does. There were days when hindus used to tonsure hair of widows and forced them to wear white sarees. They are as rude as muslims who force women to wear burqa. Hinduism is also very ugly evil like islam.

I think this website has large number of christians. I think it is necessary for every anti-muslim to be fundamentally an atheist. I don't like upholding one religion against another. I equally reject all religions but counter-arguments from some christian members are making me little disinclined to participate in this forum. Professionally, I am ISP administrator and I can create new website for myself to express my views.

Religious people think that atheists hate believers of religion. I do not hate all of the religious people. There are people who innocently believe religion. I hate only those people who make majority of the people as innocent in the name of religion for political benefit.

Ex-Hindu atheist, eh? That probably explains all the islamic propaganda BS towards Christianity.

What about absence of belief do theists not understand? Do they have a belief that there is no Santa or the Tooth Fairy? Of course not. They just don't believe in them.

I´d say it´s better, since every religion I´ve heard from
1. seeks to convert or kill non-believers
2. seeks to become the only religion of mankind
3. declares women inferior to men
4. is against sciense and development
5. is against freethinking
